Having migrated from the Caribbean to Canada, and living in the US and some parts of Europe, before moving back to Canada; Joanna understands firsthand the enormous stress and pressure one experiences when selling one’s home and downsizing from a larger home. These various moves along with her training as an image consultant and event planner have given her a wealth of experience, knowledge, understanding and appreciation for detail, placement and room enhancement which she has shared with friends and family. Her search for more education was satisfied with the Real Estate Staging training and certification from CSP™.

Using her creativity and passion as a CSP™ (certified staging professional) she uses her vision and expertise to transform ordinary places into warm and inviting spaces. Her passion for staging; her natural warmth; her engaging personality; along with her detailed planning enables her clients to quickly build confidence and trust in her advice.

Joanna is the President of the RESA-Durham Region Chapter, (Real Estate Stating Association); a member of SEA, the Staging Excellence Alliance and a Certified Senior Move Manager.

Six years ago Joanna assisted her mother to transition into a retirement residence in Ramsey, New Jersey. The amount of detailing, decision making and sorting of belongs could have been overwhelming; but, having experienced the turmoil that came with uprooting herself several times, she was prepared. What was most important to Joanna was that her mother did not have any unnecessary stress that would impact negatively on her during this turbulent time.

Drawing from her post grad training in Wellness and Lifestyle management and her work in event management, Joanna was able to make her mother’s move smooth and stress-free. Wanting to better understand what was involved in the care of her mother Joanna enrolled in a personal support worker program and interned with a well respected senior’s home in Ontario where she realized that she truly enjoyed working with seniors.

Joanna works with a team of professional organizers, stagers and relocation specialists. Real life experience, interaction and training along with her naturally warm and caring disposition is what sets her apart from other relocation specialists.
